Português: Observatório provisório instalado pela expedição brasileira na praça do Patrocínio, em Sobral. À direita da imagem, veem-se duas tendas pré-montadas interligadas por um tubo. Trata-se do aparato concebido para proteger a imensa luneta de Mailhat (de 8 metros) e seus acessórios (a câmera fotográfica e o celostato), da chuva e da poeira. A tenda de lona clara, à esquerda, abriga a luneta menor, de Steinheil. No fundo da imagem, sob uma lona de cor escura, estão abrigados os três espectrógrafos (Biblioteca do Observatório Nacional, placa EclP0025) |
