Summary[edit]
DescriptionEbakiivrik.jpg |
Antud pildil on näha vesikirbu haudetaskus püsimuna. Püsimuna moodustub vesikirpudel, siis kui elutingimused halvenevad, nt on tulemas talv Antud isend on leitud linnatiigist Rakveres.English: Simocephalus sp. are 3-4 mm in length, round animals that are covered in a bivalve carapace. The head, which contains a single compound eye, is not covered by this carapace but instead is surrounded by a hood. The given picture shows a resting egg in the hatching pocket of a water flea. Permanent eggs are formed in water fleas when living conditions deteriorate, e.g. winter is coming.
This specimen was found in a city pond in the city of Rakvere in Estonia |
