English: Eastnor Road and Stockton Road, Reigate, in snow. Taken from the ridge of Priory Park, with snow cover following a heavy fall a few days previously. For an identical photo in very different conditions, see 603787.
The name of Eastnor Road commemorates the link between Reigate Priory and Eastnor Castle near Ledbury in Herefordshire, both originally owned by the Somers family. The family and Herefordshire links are commemorated in a number of other Reigate road names. |
