Summary[edit]

Description
English: Taken from the VIIRS instrument on the NOAA-20 satellite, this true color image of the Earth was taken on April 8, 2022. It shows all the seven continents across the world, five of the world's oceans, and the greenery of the trees in the tropics of South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia; and plenty of storms systems ranging from mid-latitude systems to tropical systems like Tropical Storm Malakas of the 2022 Pacific typhoon season which at the time this satellite image was taken was located due north of Papua New Guinea. Also in this image of the Earth, you can spot wonderful ice caps of Greenland and the rest of the Arctic and Antarctic, and the deserts of Africa, Australia, southwestern North America, and middle and southwestern Asia.
