Description
English: Earth hour 2017 in Marburg (Germany), town hall of the city in dark. One of about 300 towns in Germany, that participate in year 2017 with a symbolic dark building to think about measures about saving energy and reduction of greenhouse gases. On that photo taken on Saturday, March 25, 2017 you see parts of the nearly darkened fassade with windows and Astronomical clock (with other photos, night and in daylight), behind the sculpture of Sophie von Brabant.
Deutsch: Symbolische Umweltaktion Earth hour im Jahr 2017 in der Stadt Marburg: Das dunkle Rathaus am Marktplatz mit kaum sichtbarer Fassade und dem normalerweise etwas gelblich angestrahlten Turm mit der astronomische Uhr, hinter der auch an diesem Abend weiterhin angestrahlten Statue von Sophie von Brabant mit Sohn. Neben diesem Gebäude war auch das Schloss oben auf dem Hügel ohne Beleuchtung, zu dem der Blick des Jungen durch die Marburger Gassen hindurch nach oben geht (der künftige Bauherr). Foto vom 25. März 2017 kurz nach halb 9 abends. Etwa weitere 300 Städte in Deutschland nahmen in diesem Jahr an der Aktion teil.
