Summary[edit]

Description
English: Diagram showing the gravitational potential of earth (blue line), moon (red line) and their combined gravitational potential (black thick line). Sizes of moon and earth are in the right proportion to each other, distances and energies are not at scale! Point P is the force free spot, where gravitational forces of earth and moon cancel each other.
