Notes Detail of Queen's portrait by Martin Kober. In the possetion of the Vasas were many jewels made for Jagiellons, including a pendant with monogram SAC of King Sigismund Augustus and Catharine of Austria inherited by Princess Anna Catherine Constance Vasa. The visible monogram can be interpreted as a sign of self-determination, declaration of belonging to the Jagiellon dynasty - SA: Sigismundus Augustus (Sigismund II Augustus), Stephanus et Anna (Stephen Bathory and Anna Jagiellon) or Sigismundus et Anna (Sigismund III Vasa and Anna Habsburg) alternatively.
