The State Fair grounds in Milwaukee in 1859 the ye Lincoln L± ON. ABRAHAM LINCOLN,of 111., it has already been statedthrough the press, will deliver theannual address before the Society at10 a.m. the closing day of the Fair. He is well known to most of the people of the west, as an oldresident of the country; and a gentleman of ability; a thoroughwestern man, who has got his ideas expanded in proportion tothe great prairies on which he has dwelt for the last quarter ofa century. That he will say something interesting and instructiveto the young and rising population of Wisconsin, cannot bedoubted. No man or woman who can should miss the opportunityof hearing him. The above announcement appeared in the October 1859 issueof the Wisconsin Farmer and North-Western Cultivator, a farmpaper published at Madison and edited by D. J. Powers and J. W.Hoyt.
