Early post-medieval hooked tags
Description
English: 2 early post-medieval copper alloy hooked tags, dating to the 16th century. Both are incomplete, with the lower part of the shank missing, but the heads are complete. One is of ornate openwork design, forming a trefoil motif, the other is solid, and circular in profile, decorated with pellet ornament around a central boss, the design of which is now lost. Both have rectangular attachment loops above the head. Measurements: 23 x 20 x 1mm, 2.15g /31 x 16 x 1mm, 1.98g.
