Description
English: An Early-Medieval silver penny of Coenwulf (Kingdom of Mercia), Group III. The coin measures 20mm in diameter and weighs 1.29g (19.8gn). It has a die axis of 12, very slight wear, and is slightly bent with a ragged edge on quarter circumference.

Obverse: Diademed bust right, legend starts at shoulder
