English: An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) silver penny of Coenwulf of Mercia (796-821), minted at Canterbury by Werheard, c. 820 (North 1994: 93, ref: 358).

Reverse: [W]ERHEARD; Four crescents cruciform with a central pellet
