ESS-33BAB2 Post Medieval to Modern key
Description
English: Post-Medieval (c. 1600-1800) cast copper alloy barrel key. The head is tri-lobate, with a hollow cylindrical stem attached centrally at the bottom. It has a collar half way down the stem and a small rectangular protrusion on the lower left side. It has a mid-green patina with patches of corrosion. It is complete and in fair condition although slightly bent inwards. The total length is 48.61mm, the head is 36.90 in width and 4.14 in depth. The stem is 13.17 in width and 11.03mm in depth at its largest points. It is 17.1 grams in weight.
