Notes Julia Lesser-Blatteisowa (1839-1918) was born to a Jewish family in Warsaw as a daughter of Ludwik Bergson and Dorota née Celniker. On March 24, 1864 she married a painter Aleksander Lesser, and after his death, a Krakow's doctor, Jakub Blatteis.
