Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dukes Head pub (site of) Fulford Street, Rotherhithe, London, SE16 Said to have been half way down the street on the east side from 1767 until 1830. It's licence was not renewed in 1831 as the authorities discovered it had taken in tenants during 1830. In 1908 Bermondsey Council built their first flats in Rotherhithe called Park Buildings. These consisted of four blocks, each five stories tall and about 150 yards long. All four occupied the area encompassed by Fulford, Paradise, Braddon and Rotherhithe Streets. In 1936 they were described as 'model dwellings' - demolished mid 1970's. Building on the right is the Roman Catholic Church, St Peter & the Guardian Angels.
