Description
English: NAVAL BASE VENTURA COUNTY, PORT HUENEME, Calif. (April 30, 2015) Druana “Dru” Chacon, NAVFAC EXWC Operations-SEALIFT product lead (left), receives a command coin from Rear Adm. Katherine Gregory, Commander, NAVFAC and Chief of Civil Engineers during an awards ceremony at Port Hueneme April 30. Chacon led her team through an eProject implementation for expeditionary products, establishing eProjects records for all SEALIFT projects and highlighting Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) and General Fund (GF) labor charges. Her team developed a SEALIFT tracker tool to accurately reflect the status and priority of more than 7,000 tasks for ongoing projects, providing improved transparency and accountability to her business line. The team was also recognized for significantly increasing historical delivery rates for Modernizing SEALIFT systems. (U.S. Navy photo by Darrell E. Waller, EXWC Public Affairs/Released)
