| Description |
English: Drover's road ford by the Afon Tywi. On the left the Afon Tywi can just be seen flowing towards the camera. In the foreground, Maesnant is flowing into the Tywi across the former drover's road, now a byway and established off-roader's route. Yes, that IS the road to the right of the river. Today conditions are benign, no rain having fallen for about two weeks. It is dangerous after heavy rain, a fatality occurring in September 2008 just fifty metres ahead of this ford, where the road crosses the Tywi. |
