English: Drover's Road in Cwm Doethie, Ceredigion This old route from Llanddewi-Brefi to Abergwesyn via Soar-y-Mynydd is a popular route for walkers, horse-riders, rough-stuff cyclists, scramble-bikers and (to the erosional detriment of several parts of the track surface) to the mindless convoys of 4WD drivers who deem it a sport to drive over terrain not meant for such vehicles (except for the occasional farmers accessing their land).
This is the state of the road near the hostel at Ty'n Cornel during a dry spell in late winter. |
