Summary[edit]

Description A misty and overcast day meant that we couldn't see up to the full height of the mountains, but it was still very beautiful. Note that this was cloud lingering after rain on the previous day; we'd carefully checked weather forecasts to make sure that it was safe to travel - very important in the Omani wadis because of the risks of flash floods. (N.B. this wadi is called Sahtan in the Explorer "Oman Off-road" book; it is spelled differently on our GPS and on signs as per usual).
