Description
Deutsch: Schnittskizze eines Goldbergwerks im Yukon territory. Zugang durch den Haspelschacht shaft, der den Permafrostboden frozen gravel durchteuft. Von der Sohle des Schachtes wird eine Strecke (oder Weitung) drift in der goldführenden Schicht gold-bearing sediment aufgefahren und dabei das Gold abgebaut. Die Tundra ist im arktischen Sommer moosbedeckt (moss), zwischen der Tagesoberfläche und dem Permafrostboden befindet sich eine Schicht Moorerde (muck).
