Description

Het was vandaag, lichtgezegd, een taffesbende op het spoor. Nadat rond 12:00 een storing optrad bij de verkeersleiding rond Utrecht werd het verkeer voor ongeveer een half uur stilgelegd. En nou is het niet gek dat in Alphen daar wat van te merken is (met de toch al vetragingsgevoelige 8800, slechts één van de vele treinseries die Utrecht aandoen), maar vandaag liep het toch enigszins de spuigaten uit.

Om 15:23 stond Alphen vol treinen die er niet horen te zijn: op spoor 3 (rechts) stond een sprinterkoppel dat naar Leiden reed, maar reed met een vertraging van 15 minuten. De sprinters in het midden reden als InterCity naar Leiden, welke uiteindelijk met +38 (aankomst in Alphen met +30) naar Leiden door zijn gereden. De sprinters op spoor 1 (links) eindigden hier, deze hadden naar Gouda moeten rijden, maar door de sprinter naar Leiden op spoor 3 en door de wisselangst van ProRail (het is niet mogelijk om vanaf spoor 1 naar Gouda te rijden) hielt het hier op. De stellen links zijn overigens pas om 17:38 terug in dienst gekomen, door het ontbreken van een machinist kon er niet eerder teruggekomen worden in de eigen omloop.

Het feit is dat het heel zeldzaam is dat Alphen compleet vol staat met SGM, een uniek plaatje dus, maar wel een die geen goede reden heeft.
