English: wedding dress, c.1914; belonged to donor's mother, Alice Louisa Jane Tunks, née Glasson three parts; .1 cream slipper satin dress with overlay of cotton net, hand embroidered; low bust-line, short sleeves; satin sashed waist; lined bodice; skirt, full length with slight train; cross-draped net overskirt .2 matching net lace veil; .3 white lawn underskirt, lace trimmed; also 2 original photographs in object file “WEDDING DRESS - Cream slipper satin with overlay of cotton net hand embroidered. Bodice with low bust-line – satin sashed waist – short sleeves – lined. Skirt fairly straight with small train – cross draped net overskirt. Head veil in matching lace. This is stylish dress but not elaborately made or cut.
