Deutsch: Zwischen 1705 und 1708 errichtete der Architekt Johann Friedrich Karcher unter Einbeziehung des Haugwitzscher Hauses, das an dieser Stelle bereits stand, das Taschenbergpalais. Auftraggeber war August der Starke, der es für seine Mätresse Constantina von Cosel bauen ließ. Der Name stammt vom Standort, dem Taschenberg.
English: Between 1705 and 1708 the architect Johann Friedrich Karcher built with the involvement of Haugwitzscher house, which stood on the same spot, the Taschenbergpalais. The client was Augustus the Strong, who built it for his mistress Constantia von Cosel. The name comes from the location, the Taschenberg. |
