Description
English: Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron 274 paddle their Dragon Boat out to the starting line during their first race of the 2nd Annual Dragon Boat Races at the waterfront in Oriental, N.C., July 23. More than 40 Marines with MWSS-274 and MWSS-271 answered the invitation sent out by the residents of Oriental to come and participate in this year’s races. “I want the Marines to gain the ability to work well together in any situation,” said Staff Sgt. Travis A. Browning, the team captain of Leviathan. “These kind of events help build morale and make connections with new people.”
