| Description |
English: Downland grasses on the edge of the M3 Twyford cutting. Looking north from the edge of the cutting with the wild grasses of the nature reserve in the foreground. The area is renowned for its flower-rich turf and butterflies; it was made notorious in the early 1990s during the protests against the construction of the M3 motorway cutting. Winchester and its cathedral can be seen in the distance. |
