Description
English: A U.S. Navy Douglas AD-4 Skyraider of Attack Squadron 115 (VA-115) "Arabs" is ready for launching on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Philippine Sea (CV-47) for a strike mission against Korean targets, circa 19 October 1950. VA-115 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 11 (CVG-11) aboard the Philippine Sea for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Korea from 5 July 1950 to 26 March 1951.
