Description
English: Two U.S. Air Force Douglas A-1H Skyraider (s/n 52-135242, 52-137505) of the 6th Special Operations Squadron escort a Sikorsky HH-3E Jolly Green Giant over the Gulf of Tonkin, in 1969.
The A-1H 135242 crashed on take-off from Da Nang Air Base, Vietnam, due to an engine failure on 14 August 1970. 137505 was later transferred to the South Vietnamese Air Force.
