| Description |
English: An ex-WAGR Public Works Department crane, at the Don Rhodes Mining and Transport Museum, Wilson Street, Port Hedland, Western Australia. The crane was built for the WAGR in 1896 by Cowans, Sheldon & Company in Carlisle, England. In 1909, it was moved to Port Hedland for use in the building of a new jetty, and the associated construction of the Port Hedland-Marble Bar railway. After the completion of that project, the crane was used for maintenance of the jetty. It was last used between 1957 and 1960 in the renewal of the jetty's wooden piles.
