Their master intended to go to Europe for thefollowing winter, and because he did not wantto keep so many dogs while away, had offeredthem for sale. And so, on the very next daythey were to go to their new masters or mis-tresses, as the case might be. The first to arrive was a fashionably dressedlady with her French maid. They Ohed! andAhed! over the dogs, and had a great time de-ciding which was the prettiest. Oh madam, this one, she is zee most pretty.She have such soft white hair, and she will lookmost beautiful with zee French bow on zee backof her neck. 12
