English: Disused gateway to Ravens Nest Inclosure, New Forest This gateway once formed part of the enclosure fence around Ravens Nest Inclosure. Once the trees have established (the last planting was in the 1960s) the fence is no longer needed and the boundary is "thrown open" to the commoners' stock. The boundary in this photo runs parallel to the Long Cross to Bramshaw lane. |
