| Description |
English: Dismantled swing bridge north of Beccles The old mainline from Beccles to Yarmouth Southtown was dismantled because of repair costs, also the East Suffolk line was almost closed by Beeching. The line does however have protected status and may be rebuilt to Haddiscoe. North of Haddiscoe is impossible due to filling of St Olaves cutting, dismantling of swingbridge (like this one) and the obstructions and St Olaves, Belton and Yarmouth itself. |
