Summary[edit]

Description
English: A direction watch is a specialized 24-hour watch, with compass card dial, designed for finding directions using the sun in the northern hemisphere. With the watch set to indicate local time, the hour hand is pointed directly at the sun. North is then indicated by the local midnight position.
