Description
Português: Em primeiro plano, ligeiramente deslocado para a direita, São João Baptista que aparece como um homem de meia idade, de barba e cabelo castanho, vestindo uma túnica de pele castanha e, colocado sobre o ombro esquerdo, um manto vermelho. No braço esquerdo, segura um livro aberto sobre o qual está um pequeno cordeiro branco. Na mão direita, segura uma cruz feita de canas. Do lado esquerdo, em segundo plano, está representada a cena do baptismo de Cristo e, mais ao fundo, uma cidade. Do lado direito, uma árvore. Toda esta parte da pintura está pintada em tons de azul e verde, constratando com a personagem principal que se destaca sobre este fundo.
