Description
Português: Inicialmente atribuida a Gregório Lopes, Martin Soria (Soria, 1957) atribui a autoria desta obra ao chamado "Mestre de São Quintino" que teria sido discípulo do primeiro. Mais Tarde, J.O.C. irá identificar o Mestre de São Quintino como Diogo de Contreiras, pintor que terá trabalhado para o Convento de São Bento de Cástris, do qual a pintura é proveniente (Caetano, 1988-1993; 1993). Após a extinção do convento, a pintura terá dado entrado no Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga que a virá a ceder ao Museu de Évora, a título de depósito em Maio de 1965.
