Description
Svenska: Studier i kök på 1940-talet Kritiken mot 30-talets små kök var stark. Det blev inte som arkitekterna trott - att framtidens kök mest skulle användas för att värma färdiga konserver. På 40-talet försökte man ta reda på hur behoven verkligen såg ut. Hemmens forskningsinstitut som bildades 1944, koncentrerade sig främst på köket och utförde funktions- och utrymmesstudier i full skala. Med utgångspunkt i dessa studier fastställdes den första svenska köksstandarden 1950 som i stort sett är densamma som i dag.
