English: Diesel locomotives East Lancs Railway Seen just to the north of Bury's Bolton Street Station, part of the restored East Lancs Railway. The locomotive in the foreground is D335 (later to become 40 135). It is a class 40 (split head code) built by English Electric in 1961 and is owned and operated by the Class 40 Preservation Society based at Bury. It is painted in the original British Railways Green livery. |
