Description
English: "Comment appliquer le quadrant". "Wie der quadrant anzuschlagen". "Tractat 3 Cap 13 fig 2". "Poinct du niveau". "Punct der Wagen". Gunner's square for orientation of a cannon. Trajectories A-O for different exit angles of the cannonball with their impact points and distances. Carpentry hook with plumb bob. Furthest distance is achieved for a cannon angle to ground of approximately 38 degrees. This angle is smaller than 45 degrees due to air drag.
