Summary[edit]

Description
English: Didsbury Hostelries These public houses (The Didsbury to the left and Ye Old Cock to the right) are located in the historical centre of Didsbury. Growth of the village led to the centre shifting to the north. Between the two can be seen the entrance to Parsonage Gardens, the former home of Fletcher Moss, an Alderman of the City of Manchester. In 1914 Fletcher Moss gave the Parsonage, its garden and other land in this locality to the City. This became Fletcher Moss Gardens (http://www.manchester.gov.uk/leisure/parks/south/fletcher.htm )
