Summary[edit]
DescriptionDevils punchbowl Oregon interior.jpg |
English: This is the interior of the Oregon sea cave collapse feature, Devils Punchbowl State Park. This shows 3 openings into sea caves that merged and formed a large room due to the combined force of waves entering each. At some point the roof to the chamber collapsed forming open bowl. It may have started as a small hole that grew over time, or as one catastrophic collapse. Such features are known in various places around the world. |
