Description
English: Detail of a funerary stele at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeus depicting the deaceased and a siren. What follows is the museum inscription under the steleː "Funerary stele of the second half of the first century A.D. The dead is represented standing and leaning one hand on the head of a Siren. Below, in a very low relief, two facing Tritons carrying rudders and blowing conch-shells. Inv. nos. 223+1540."
