BILDNIS DER MARIA-ANNA-SOPHIE VON SACHSEN (1728 - 1797) KURFÜRSTIN VON BAYERN Halbportrait, die Kurfürstin hier nicht als Staatsportrait sondern als intim-privates Bildnis geschaffen. Sie trägt kurz gewelltes, nach hinten frisiertes, weiß gepudertes Haar und einen Blumenstrauß im Steckdiadem sowie blaues gerüschtes Seidenhalsband, das den Seidenrüschen des Mieders entspricht. Kleidung in reicher Spitze, zudem trägt sie eine Mantille in schwarzer Spitze, sogenannte “Chantilly-Spitze“, in einer früheren Technik, wie aus einem Schreiben des deutschen Klöppenverbandes hervorgeht. Die Dargestellte vor dunklem Hintergrund, der Kopf leicht gedreht, die braunen Augen auf den Betrachter gerichtet der Kopf von leichter Aufhellung des Hintergrundes gerahmt. Die Dargestellte war Gemahlin des Kurfürsten Maximilian III. Josef. Eine geborene Prinzessin von Sachsen und Polen, dargestellt etwa im Alter von dreißig Jahren. Öl/Lwd. 85,5 x 67,5 cm. Anmerkung: Dem Gemälde ist ein Gutachten von Pater Laurentius Koch OSB, Ettal 8.9.1993 beigegeben, mit dem Resumée: Das exzellent erhaltene Portrait wird vom Unterzeichneten weitestgehend als eigenhändig angesehen, eine Werkstattbeteiligung in kleinerem Umfang kann angenommen werden.
