Carnival parade in São Vicente, Madeira

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Carnival parade in São Vicente, Madeira, a few days before the lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic was declared. The parade was composed mainly of children and elderly people belonging to various schools and institutions of the parish. Among the troupes were the "Super Grandmas of Adenorama", the "Senior Prisonal Institute", "Sea to Sea", and "Rock and Roll Has No Age", among others.
Português: Cortejo de Carnaval em São Vicente, Madeira, poucos dias antes de ser declarado o confinamento da pandemia de Covid-19. O desfile era composto sobretudo por crianças e idosos pertencentes a várias escolas e instituições da freguesia. Entre as trupes contavam-se as "Super Avós da Adenorama", o "Instituto Prisional Sénior", "Mar a Mar", e "Rock and Roll Não Tem Idade", entre outros.
