DescriptionDerrick Rose vs Washington Wizards.jpg |
English: CHICAGO (March 15, 2011) – Derek Rose (left) of the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Chicago Bulls brings the ball up the court against the Washington Wizards at the United Center here March 15. Before the game, more than 80 recruits from Navy Recruiting District (NRD) Chicago were sworn in on the Bulls’ home court. The swearing-in ceremony has been an annual ritual and partnership between the Bulls and the Navy for the past three years. Following the game, won by the Bulls 98-79, the new NRD Chicago-sponsored recruit division left to begin eight weeks of training at the Navy’s only boot camp, Recruit Training Command (RTC) at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill. |
