Summary[edit]

Description
English: A fixed anode X-ray tube removed from a dental X-ray unit. This tube is submerged under insulating oil during operation. This device is branded Toshiba, part number D-088.


The heated cathode and cathode filament is visible centre. Left hand side is the copper block with embedded tungsten target (not visible) that makes up the anode.
