Summary[edit]
DescriptionDeinonychus DL.jpg |
English: Models of two deinonychus dinosaurs (Deinonychus antirrhopus) on display at the Australian Museum in Sydney, Australia. Traditionally depicted in a reptilian form with bare, scaly skin, these models align with the conventional portrayal of dinosaurs. However, are increasingly leaning towards the idea that Deinonychus, along with other dromaeosaurids (Dromaeosauridae), likely had a covering of feathers. Deinonychus lived in the Cretaceous period, 115–108 million years ago.
Small model below represents Psittacosaurus sp.
(Psittacosaurus sp.). English: Models of two Deinonychus dinosaurs |
