Description
English: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen, U.S. Navy, awards the Purple Heart to U.S Army Sgt. Marcus Love at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, who was wounded earlier in the day on July 14, 2009. Love is assigned to the 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division. Mullen is accompanying a USO tour featuring Hall of Fame NFL coach Don Shula, NFL running back Warrick Dunn, actors Bradley Cooper and D.B. Sweeney and sports personality and model Leeann Tweeden on a visit to the Central Command area of responsibility.
