Description
English: Joint service personnel raise the former Soviet submarine Juliett 484 to the surface of the Providence River at Collier Point Park in Providence, R.I., on July 25, 2008. U.S. Navy and Army divers joined federal, state and local agencies in an operation to recover the sunken submarine, which sank 30 feet during a strong storm that struck the area in April 2007.
