Description
English: Aviation ordnancemen move laser guided bombs to waiting aircraft on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in preparation for strikes against al Qaeda terrorist training camps and military installations of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan on Oct. 7, 2001. The carefully targeted actions are designed to disrupt the use of Afghanistan as a base for terrorist operations and to attack the military capability of the Taliban regime. The USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) is operating in the Arabian Sea as part of Operation Enduring Freedom.
