Description
English: The Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman visited Goa Naval Area on 10 September 2017. Sitharaman was accompanied by Admiral Sunil Lanba, PVSM, AVSM, ADC, Chief of the Naval Staff and was received by Vice Admiral Girish Luthra PVSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command. A 50 men Guard along with ceremonial band was paraded for the Minister at INS Hansa. The Defence Minister was briefed on naval aviation followed by a demonstration of MiG 29K fighter aircraft operations.
