Summary[edit]

Description
English: This image is of two pieces of broken pipe lying amongst other debris on the sandy bottom of the St. Lawrence River under about a foot of water. At the time this image was taken, the water level of the St. Lawrence was incredibly low. The image was taken at the site of the former village of Aultsville, Ontario, which was intentionally flooded during the construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway in the 1950s.
