(Zie blz. 234, 235, 236 en 237 ; zie ook blz. 81, 82 en 83.) maechden zijn soo aerdig toegemaect, dat zij lustich om te sien zijn, hebbende t hair in een netken opgestrict, met allerley bloemen verciert, beyde de borsten met een zijden cleet van 2 handen breet bedect, van coleur groen ende root, swart ende groen, wit ende root, ofte wit ende groen, enz. Dus toen reeds trokken de kains kembangan de aandacht. Van de kembangan doeken worden hier de navolgende patronen genoemd: i. woeloeng (= blauwzwart) zwart, zonder tëngahan; 2. bango toelak (= witgevlekte ban go vogel); donkerblauw met een witte of soms ookgele tëngahan, tegenwoordig een vorstelijk patroon, dat alleen door den vorst, door prinsenen bruidegoms gedragen mag worden en dat Drake in 1577 omschreven heeft als „blauw tegengereserveerd wit. 3. lenga tëlëng(lenga = olie; t ë 1 ëng = bloem van een klimopsoort, de Clitoria ternatea,fam. der Papili
